GOLF CITY DAWA PROJECTS

Dawa Industrial City is the West Africa sub-region’s newest and most advanced 2000 acre, multi-million dollar master planned industrial city development located on the Accra- Aflao road; some 25km from Tema a port City and in the heart of the sub-region’s gateway economy, Ghana.

Dawa Industrial City consists a broad ecosystem of industrial and residential developments all designed to position Ghana as a hub for industrial activity in West Africa. Dawa Industrial City comprises of the following 3 developments:

Dawa  is an Industrial Zone purposefully designed industrial enclave intended to host a wide range of light and heavy industries across various sectors. These include the agro-processing, garments and textiles, logistics, materials and metal fabrication sectors. At full capacity, Dawa Industrial Zone is expected to host over 100 companies and directly employ over 15,000 people.

 Dawa Energy Park  is also a 300 acre Energy Park designed to host power plants and petroleum tank farms. Dawa Energy Park is located along Ghana’s Atlantic Coast and will have a purpose built Single Point Moring (SPM) system for offloading light crude oil, finished petroleum products and natural gas. The park is also expected to tie into the BOST Gas transmission infrastructure once available.

 Golf City Estates comprises of a 10,000 acre land purposefully designed for the development of the following projects below:

 

A. GOLF CITY DEVELOPMENT

The project  comprises of an 18-hole golf course  surrounded by high end real estate development on an acre land each. Each property comes with a swimming pool and with a unique design. The property will have other extras depending on the owners taste. The properties will start from a million dollar each.. The Private courses will be

opened only to golfers willing to pay a membership fee to joi

n the club. The costs associated with joining this private club vary widely, with the most expensive costing hundreds of thousands of dollars to join. Those ultra- expensive club will  cap membership at a few thousand golfers. At most with this private club, however, non-members will be allowed to play as guests of a member

B   GOLF CITY HOTEL

 

 

On the same 3,000-acre land and outside the environs of this magnificent project will also have a 500 Bed 5 Star Hotel with conference facility and all the pegs that go with it.

 

C GOLF CITY HOSPITAL

 

This 500 BED Hospital will be one of the best in West Africa with specialisation in Hospital Management and specific training in hospital engineering and software management in all aspects of medical care and hospital management. The hospital will be part of the 3,000 acre land.

 

GOLF CITY UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED TECHNOLOGY PROJECT (3,000 ACRE LAND FACILITY).
This is a University of Applied Technology facility which will utilise the full capacity of the human faculty during the training. The Objective is to develop technologies to industrialise the African continent.  The University will therefore combine Theory and Practicals so much so that Students will produce whatever they learn. Sixty percent of assessment will be practical. The school will produce machines, equipment, appliances and Spares parts for industries in Ghana, Africa and the world.

 

GULF CITY HOSTEL 15,000 UNITES

 

The modern hostel is specifically designed for investors and students to enable them do their course in the most efficient ways. This hostel will come with a cafeteria, a mini library and study places for students.

 

GOLF CITY REAL ESTATE (3,000 ACRES)– AFFORDABLE HOUSING 20,000 UNITES

 

This is a 20,000 unites 1, 2, 3 & 3 bedroom houses and apartments that will have the modern designs for affordable dwellings. This is a government of Ghana and Turkish Government partnership project.

 

The dwellings will be sold to government and private workers and with decent living . The development will come schools, supermarkets , clinics and many many more.

 

GOLF CITY MEGA – SUPER SHOP/ DEPOTS (1000 ACRES)

 

The Mega Depots will host about 15 different Mega-Depots from Clothing Superstores to Mega Car Show Rooms .

 

ABOUT THE LAND & PROJECTS IN THE ENCLAVE

The enclave already has the following projects, which some have taken shape and others are yet to be developed.

1 New Proposed International Airport

  1. Railways to and from Tema harbour
  2. Dawa industrial Free Zone
  3. Various government industrial transformation as such LM Holdings Ltd, producers of concrete sleepers to boost the railway which is already in operation
  4. Dawa 330/34.5kv substation, this is 300-acre energy park designed to host power plant and petroleum tank farms
  5. Dawa industrial park with occupants such as Golden Milan (Chinese steel manufacturing co.) and the park Is estimated to house about 300 companies as occupants when completed.
